October 25, 2008 - 61st Annual event, Walnut, California; Temperatures were nice in the morning but dry and hot in the afternoon, so much so that heat casualties overwhelmed the local medical treatment centers; races in the mid-afternoon were cut by 1 mile and then the last couple were cancelled.
